Silva
Silva is a Swedish company that designs, develops, and sells compasses, headlamps, and outdoor products for sports, adventure, and professional use. They have been operating since 1933, when Silva's founders invented the world's first liquid-filled compass.

When should you consider migrating from one platform to another? For Silva, the decision could no longer be postponed. Their WooCommerce shop frequently experienced crashes, had long response times, and the development of new features couldn't keep up with their ambitions.
Over several years, Silva had been developing on their WooCommerce shop. Many different developers had been involved, and far too many plugins and applications were now interfering with each other. Time and again, they had to drop everything just to keep the webshop running.
A fresh start was needed. Silva required a stable and reliable solution that could handle the size of the business, visually support the brand, and ensure easy integration with external systems. Silva went straight to Shopify, and Shopify directed them straight to us.

The intention was 70% branding and 30% webshop. The new store was intended to be an aesthetic embodiment of Silva, not to rival many retailers. It aimed to create brand awareness and appeal to brand enthusiasts rather than the price-driven segment. Hence, we developed a store in a Premium theme where aesthetics were prioritized – allowing space for large images, films, and intense ambiance. The shop supports multiple languages and currencies.
Customer service is also given special attention.
We also assisted Silva in getting started with Klaviyo and Gorgias, ensuring that the customer service aspect now operates at the highest level. We don't stop at the integration itself but always make sure to educate the eCommerce team, so they are best equipped for the daily digitization of the entire customer journey.
