ACTION REQUIRED: PSD2 Compliance
Online payments are becoming more secure - this is great for all of us and especially for webshops as it means fewer losses from fraudulent orders.
This means your webshop must also comply with the new rules - and you can’t wait any longer. As of September 14, 2019, you need to have this sorted out.

- - What does this mean for me?
If you use Shopify PAY or Stripe, you can relax - you pay a lot of money - so you deserve it (contact us if you want to save money).
If you use another solution (e.g., QuickPay, Bambora, etc.), you must ensure you use their payment window. This means your customers are sent from Shopify's checkout to an external payment window and back when the payment is made.
You also need to have 3D Secure and Dankort Secured by Nets activated.
...and that's actually it.

FDIH has written a very nice article about it where you can read, among other things:
For many online stores, this does not mean big changes if they already accept Dankort Secured by Nets, MobilePay, or 3D Secure solutions for either Visa or MasterCard

If you are not already a member of FDIH or know them, you should definitely read more here.
FDIH works to strengthen the conditions for e-commerce in Denmark and is especially known for the annual e-commerce analysis, e-commerce awards, and e-commerce conference.
But I can't figure out how to switch?!
Contact your provider (e.g., QuickPay, Bambora, etc.) - they are super nice and help you get it set up correctly. QuickPay has made a nice guide here.
You can also write in the Shopify User Group Denmark on Facebook - there are many nice Shopify enthusiasts who give each other good tips and help.
_ All in one window or combo?
Some providers offer a bit of flexibility so you can have Dankort, VISA, and Mastercard in the payment window and then keep MobilePay and Viabill as independent payment options on the Shopify payment page.
This can in some cases lead to a poor user experience as the name of the gateway is displayed and a limited number of payment options. This means MobilePay, for instance, may be hidden... and customers can become confused.
On Morfars.dk, we have created an elegant solution where the payment is completely transferred to the payment window.
When the customer clicks "Approve and pay order," QuickPay's payment window is displayed, and only here does the customer decide the payment method.
Can highly recommend the drone with camera - it is easy to get started with :)
# There is nonsense on my site_
On the Shopify payment page, it may look a bit strange and, at worst, some logos may be missing. Unfortunately, there is no perfect solution for this... but sometimes you can be creative. Contact us if we can help you.
