BookKeeper

Avoid hefty accountant fees - bookkeeping has never been more efficient.

BookKeeper makes it easy and efficient to record your daily sales in your accounting system. BookKeeper is supported by Billy, Dinero, and E-conomic.

Why spend valuable time and energy reconciling each individual sale when you can handle it all at once?

With BookKeeper, your sales are automatically transferred to your ledger every day. You also have the option to delve into individual transactions by exporting the full day's ledger to your email.

And now you might be wondering - how does BookKeeper know where I want my transactions recorded? It knows because you inform it yourself. With BookKeeper's easy 4-step setup, you can choose exactly where the different lines should be transferred in your ledger.

Refunds are also no issue. They are accounted for in the day's transactions, so you don’t have to worry about unnecessary discrepancies in your accounting.

Simple and Easy Bookkeeping

BookKeeper is an app that helps you record daily sales. Unlike the traditional accounting apps that synchronize customers, orders, and products, BookKeeper keeps it simple by only sending the day's accumulated sales figures as a journal entry to the accounting system.

The principle is to create a journal entry for the day's sales—both online and in-store sales—in the same way as balancing your cash drawer. It's a new approach to recording daily sales, saving significant time for your bookkeeper, and ultimately leading to financial savings for you.

How do I get started?

To get started, simply install the app.

Once the app is installed, you will need to approve the subscription (this is determined by your Shopify subscription), and then a synchronization of orders from the last 3 months will begin.

When the synchronization is complete, you need to configure BookKeeper. This requires you and/or your accountant to decide which account online and store sales should go to for the different gateways.

Once you've specified this, BookKeeper will suggest how to set up your journal, and then you don’t need to do anything further if you've opted for daily automatic synchronization with your accounting system - easy, right?
