An intense project: New theme and #TieredDiscounts in just two weeks

  • Shopify 2.0 theme: A new premium theme, providing faster load times and greater flexibility on all pages. Kødriget can now independently manage with embedded apps, metafields, and metaobjects, as well as new exciting sections and layouts.

  • Optimized navigation: An entirely new navigation that has made the customer experience more intuitive and easy.

  • Customized product templates: 'Meat' and 'Wine' each received their own product template. Better structuring of product information has reduced customer inquiries and increased sales.

Another Upgrade: Shopify Plus and Checkout Optimization

KødRiget already had a timeslot app, but it was acting up, and its placement in the customer journey wasn't optimal. With Shopify Plus, KødRiget gained the ability to add apps directly to checkout – a significant advantage that justifies the subscription cost.

Additions with Shopify Plus:

  • Shopify Plus: Ability for checkout customizations and Shopify B2B (a new project is already planned).

  • Timeslot app: Customers easily choose delivery times during checkout.

  • Automatic surcharge: Polystyrene box surcharge is automatically added when needed.

  • Upselling at checkout: Products like 'Rødvinssauce' and 'Bøfsalt' can easily be added before payment, increasing order value.

With the upgrade, KødRiget has gained an even stronger foundation for future growth.

Timeslot app

With DTAILS' timeslot-app, customers can select their preferred delivery date for their order. It also allows adding time intervals, so the customer can choose a specific delivery time within a defined window.

When the customer has added items to their cart and proceeds to checkout, they can choose whether the order should be picked up at KødRigets store or delivered to their home address. The address is then entered, and a delivery date is selected. It's easy to see which dates are available for delivery.

These small details make the customer journey smooth and easy. A good customer journey helps ensure a higher conversion rate.
